I love movies. I love everything about movies. I love how they make us laugh and make us cry, make us think and help us grow. I love how they let us escape and turn history into something we can see instead of something we can only read about in books. I love how artists are always improving on the craft and expanding our idea of what’s possible, from behind the lens all the way to the editing room floor.

I’ve watched countless film websites betray their integrity, poaching Reddit threads for content and writing with the passion of a Buzzfeed article. Half-assed theories turn into feature length articles, graphics are nothing but a couple of images thrown onto a template, and worst of all, maximizing clicks matters more than writing something worth reading.My blog isn’t just a place for me to write: it's a place where people who feel the way I do can find good, quality content about what we love most: movies.
